As you can see below, the map has been divided into provinces for further role-play opportunities within the server.
Each province requires an original Lord, who can in turn conquer other provinces, increasing his area of influence and his title as a result.
The titles are as follows -
One province - Lord/Lady
Two provinces - Baronet/Baronetess
Three provinces - Baron/Baroness
Four provinces - Viscount/Visvountess
Five provinces - Earl/Countess
Six provinces - Marquess/Marchioness
Seven provinces - Duke/Duchess
The Lord/Lady of a province, is simply the first person to journey to the capital of Voronezh and stake his/claim to the King. Further provinces may be gained in the following ways.
1. Single combat. A Lord/Lady may challenge another for their land by way of single combat. This combat shall take place in the capital of Voronezh, in sight of the King. You shall fight to the death in the arena, your weapons of choice (no ranged), with the winner receiving the land in question and the change in their title.
2. War. You may RP PVP a war between your province and your enemies. Any war, once declared, must take place within the next 30 minutes. You must decide amongst yourselves the rules of your war, but you must abide by them. Agreements must be honoured, win or lose. At the end of the 30 minutes, a victor must be decided upon. If an agreement cannot be made, with no broken agreements, the provinces shall remain as they are.
You may not buy, sell or give away your province. Should you no longer wish to rule, the land will revert to the crown.
Province conditions
Take heed, as a province ruler, you are expected to have a well established settlement with a tier two monument, events arena and active trading post. You will need to run regular events to entertain your people, write laws to keep them in order, maintain a strong treasury and functioning bank via trade and generally be an active member of the community. Inactive rulers will be at risk of being dishonourably stripped of their title and lands. Consider carefully if this is the position for you.
For continuity, the monarchy shall remain at all times seated in Voronezh Oblast.
